Sugar and Spice and everything nice…that’s what little girls are made of.
All children have a beauty about them. These two sisters, however, just make my heart skip a beat whenever I see them. One is calm, sweet, and a tad bit reserved . The other is fiesty and lively with a smile that will melt your heart. Can you tell which is which? 🙂
ahhhh, the joys of senior year.
I’ve known this sweetie all her life, so it was a pleasure to photograph her senior session. Best of luck to you my dear!
Spring has arrived in Texas! Celebrate the warmer air and gorgeous blooms with a Hello Spring mini portrait session. And you’ll help a great cause at the same time – for every session booked, I will purchase an insecticide-treated bed net that will help prevent the spread of malaria in Africa.
Malaria is a leading cause of death among children in Africa – in fact, every 45 seconds a child dies from malaria infection. Pregnant women are also particularly vulnerable. Malaria is spread through the bite of an infected mosquito. Bed nets work by creating a protective barrier against deadly malaria-carrying mosquitoes that bite at night. A family of four can sleep under an insecticide-treated bed net, safe from malaria, for three years. The benefits of bed nets extend even further than protecting those sleeping underneath them. The insecticide woven into each net makes entire communities safer – killing and repelling mosquitoes so that they can’t go on to bite others who may not be protected by a net.
So if you or someone you know may be interested in having some portraits made this spring (I do big kids too, not just little ones!), please contact me. You can also visit www.nothingbutnets.net for more information about malaria and the distribution of bed nets in Africa.
