Meet Amanda

Hi there, I'm Amanda, a portrait photographer in Houston, TX.

There's a saying that "The days are long but the years are short." As a mom of 9-year-old and 12-year-old kids, I know it's absolutely true. I'm finding that it's hard to remember the sweet details and little moments I swore I'd never forget - the way my daughter gazes adoringly at her daddy, the night my son fell asleep wearing his bike helmet, the first Christmas in our new house. Try as I might, I can't stop them from outgrowing their clothes (every three months, it seems!), but I CAN preserve each stage through photographic art.

My heart swells as I walk past their images hanging in our home...eyes closed and face tilted to the sky in carefree laughter, arms linked when they were ring bearer and flower girl, arms around my husband's neck, kissing his cheek. I won't get these moments back, but I can vividly remember each one, because they are visually present in our home.

I can't keep your kids from shooting into the next pants size faster than you can buy them, but I CAN stop time. For 1/250th of a second at a time, I'll capture the newborn yawn, the toddler "belly", the shy gaze of your daughter who's in a slightly insecure phase...and then we'll turn it into archival artwork to help you remember each stage of your family's life. Whether you're cradling your first newborn in a sleep-deprived haze, you're launching your high school senior into the big, big world, or it's just been too long since you've had a photo of the whole family, I'm here to put your memories where they belong...on display, front and center in your home.

Enter your email so I can share with you my FREE guide on exactly how I can create this unforgettable experience for YOU...exactly as you want to remember your family today.

A few fun facts...

I met my husband while playing church.

I won the state all-around championship in gymnastics for my level in high school.

Many childhood weekends were spent sailing all over Galveston Bay with my family.

My happy place = curled up in the corner of our sofa with my cozy throw, a novel and a steaming cup of coffee.
